Delivered…from…for

And David spoke to the LORD the words of this song on the day when the LORD delivered him from the hand of all his enemies, and from the hand of Saul. – 2 Samuel 22:1

And as soon as it was morning, the chief priests held a consultation with the elders and scribes and the whole council. And they bound Jesus and led him away and delivered him over to Pilate. – Mark 15:1

The only reason ANYONE is delivered from the hands of enemies as in the example of King David in the above text is because King Jesus was delivered into the hands of enemies.
